Bringing Death Home: A Community Exploration Series on Death Denial

Join us as we explore the many layers of death denial — within ourselves, our culture, and the collective body. These five soul-centered sessions invite inquiry, community ritual, breathwork, story, and reflection. Together we will courageously contemplate, give breath to and explore the fear, silence, and disconnection surrounding death, and move toward healing through ancestral wisdom, animism, and embodied practice.

These gatherings are for anyone who

• Feels called to deepen their relationship with death and dying
• Has experienced loss or is navigating grief
• Is a caregiver, death doula, hospice worker, therapist, or healing artist
• Seeks spiritual and communal tools for embracing mortality

Session Themes

FEAR – Understanding Death Denial Explore cultural and personal fears around death, the consequences of denial, and how we reclaim presence.

LOSS – Cultural Roots of Death Denial How different traditions honor grief and what is lost when mourning is suppressed.

LEGACY – Death Denial in the Body & Psyche How the desire to leave something behind affects how we live now.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS – Grief & Death as a Teacher Unspoken truths, regrets, and the wisdom of grief as a teacher and healer.
